Duckin` & Divin`

The moat is all that remains of Hinckley Castle which was built around the time of the Norman Conquest....there is still the mound on which the castle itself was built and that has been landscaped and houses the War Memorial.
The ducks and coots have been there for as long as I have lived here. The raft in the background used to house a quite spectacular water fountain, but that`s now defunct and the coots have built their nest on it.
