Mike the Knight Cake

For the last couple of months all Arlo has requested for his birthday is a Mike the Knight cake. So after a day enjoying the sunshine at Inverleith Park and not enjoying another car crash of a rugby match I set about baking one for him. The design is based on the tried and tested football pitch cake I used to get as a boy. Hope he's excited to see and eat it when he wakes up tomorrow morning as a 3 year old.

Onto the letter H today in my musical journey. Toss up between one of the bands that kick started my love of proper music and an artist who has been consistently brilliant throughout her career. I'm going to opt for the former, if only because I can't get enough of Shaun William Ryder strutting his stuff. (maybe I can sneak that other candidate in under the letter P?).
