"your country needs you"

Ok I admit it - I'm a history geek!

I loved the subject at secondary school! The Germans, the Romans, English history, Irish History, Russia, Italy and also the local history of Enniskillen for which the view from the room window became our textbook!

We also had a great teacher - Mrs Lee, who has decided to retire! She will be a massive loss to the school and stepping into her shoes will be a mammoth task! Her 'specials' were in a league of their own and more feared than a red afternoon detention slip! :)

She used to have a massive poster of this iconic war time image so when I seen it in the McManus galleries here in Dundee in coaster form I just had to have it! My search for the poster version continues! haha!
