"friendships"

I've been in Scotland 5 years and yet to experience the wonder that is the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh! Usually I'd still be at home for the summer and would never be back in time so this year I'm determined to change that! Cue the need for my lovely friend Mim to be my festival tour guide!

So, Day 1 at the festival involved 'The God Particle' - an absolutely brilliant show. It was a romantic comedy about a quantum physicist and a vicar and their experiences of time loops in the little village of Three Pigs! It was that good that I've booked more tickets to see it again next weekend when Phil and I go down for a Fringe Marathon!

During a food stop we went to Oink! for a pulled pork roll which we ate in the sunshine at the Grassmarket. I'm so glad that Mim has decided to stay in Edinburgh to do her Phd - I wasn't ready to say goodbye to her as we have so many adventures still to complete!

Great day - can't wait for next weekend! :)
