another indoor day!

This is the underpainting for the pastel i'll do when it's dried. i'm loving this smaller scale...good for travelling!

Yesterday, after some sketching, and generally hanging out - morgan and i headed to the mall. Chapters and a couple of good books bought, latte and muffins munched....then back to her apartment to make the delicious pizza part of which can be seen here .

today is another chance for me to play with my new lens and my paints! it's raining out there...so i'm happy to stay indoors. meeting up with a friend for coffee...and then we are heading to Gibsons, on the Sunshine coast. but i fear we will be dealing with some rain....no matter, we have art supplies, books, rain gear and whatever the weather...we'll be together !!
