Me and my Shadow

Another glorious Indian Summer day. As you can see, I went back down to the river in town, and the kingfishers were zooming around. I counted 7 passes - maybe the same one 7 times, or a number of different ones - who knows? This one perched on the rail, very close to where I got yesterday's shot, then dived into the water before perching close to the water's edge. No fish this time, alas, but a nice illustration of the wonderful sharp light, in the form of a shadow.
