life is funny.

this lady used to be my sunday school teacher about 20 years ago (a fact she reminds me of every time i see her!). i didn't really think i'd see her again after we moved churches when i was a teenager. now i'm back in shrewsbury, our paths cross regularly as we run some of our events from the newly refurbished church (and the venue for those sunday school classes years ago).

15 years ago she lost her son, David, to leukaemia. he was the same age as my brother. today she held a macmillan coffee morning to raise money for the wonderful nurses who cared for him.

andy and i were doing some promotional filming for the venue and so we got chance to interview her today. what a woman!
