TGIF

A busy day at work, had to do an assessment at one of the hospitals. One of the OTs on the ward (who I used to work with) collared me to help her with one of her patients after I had done my assessment. It was weird being back in that environment, but still lots of familiar faces giving a nice welcome.

Last day of term 3 and the girls are on holiday now for 2 weeks. I'm taking the second week off and plan to really enjoy my time with them. The Eldest has 2 friends coming for a sleepover tomorrow night and the Youngest is going for a sleepover at one of her friends' places.

The girls and I headed through to Maraetai after school for afternoon tea and a play at the park. We pretty much had the beach and park to ourselves.

Book club tonight. We read Goodbye Sarajevo. It was an interesting read, but copped out a bit at the end not really giving any information about the many people encountered throughout the book.
