There comes a time....

....when you have to buy a smartphone.

I've put this off as long as I can, but today, after 5 years of not buying a phone - I bought a phone. Managed to find the cheapest non Samsung Android phone that I could and here it is. Does the job I suppose.

It came down to a discussion with the wife who suggested that we really do need a phone with a better plan and we need a second phone to keep in touch with other now that we seem to be busy. So....I bought an Android.

I'd like to say I'm impressed with it - which I am I suppose - but then - it's not intuitive in the slightest. I spent nearly 30 seconds reading about how to upgrade the software but quickly lost the will to live. We'll stick with the ancient software on it.

It does what we need. Takes and makes calls. And messaging. And Facebook. And Paypal app. And Ebay app.......
