Dribs and Drabs of 2014

Hidden Gem

I'm surprised I haven't posted more barn pics. They used to be my reason for being early on, and there were numerous, lovely examples in all sizes, shapes, and colours between Kentville and Charlottetown PEI, where "T" used to live. Now that she lives here maybe I've lost sight of all the barn potentials in the valley.

Yesterday I took a different route to work. Mostly to try and catch the nasty clouds and fog bank hanging over the valley, but it was a bust. I probably would have done better if I had my CPOL with me. As I continued on, I saw a barn peaking from behind some trees. By this time it was pouring rain and I wasn't stopping. It also rained on my way home.

Today it only drizzled. When I stopped I thought it might be best to wait for the leaves to change colour. However, after looking through my captures and choosing this one, I think the little bit of green left in the leaves is just right! Not to say I won't be back when Autumn is in full swing!
