Bonnie Prince Charlie's Beach

This is Coilleag a Phrionnsa, the beach on the small island of Eriskay where Bonnie Prince Charlie first set foot on Scottish soil in 1745. He couldn't have picked a more beautiful spot for the start of a disastrous campaign. We had some time to spare here as we'd just missed our ferry to Barra due to a flat tyre first thing in the morning. Worse things could happen!
