Day off

Leisurely start to the day, sat on steps watching the wildlife, then off to meet a friend at Fountains Abbey. Lovely walk through ancient sweet chestnut filled valley. The bark so beautiful, twisted and latticed. Home in time to pay a visit to the allotment. Swapped some raspberries and plums with a fellow allotmenteer for some truly delicious corn on the cob. Lovely day.
