Sunrise at L'Arche

Just to remind myself that I didn't spend all my holiday in bed, this was taken at 5:41 at the start of a beautiful morning.

Strolling around the grounds of the holiday home at that time of the morning, I found myself strangely alive - especially as the light was changing by the minute. The lake was the calmest I've ever seen it and the mist was just magical. Later on, of course, the calm of the lake will be shattered by the roar of the outboard motor when the boys get up - or at least it will when I get some more petrol for the speed boat. The temperature got up to 35 today.

Phew - wot a scorcher!
