Rush hour
No matter where you go...there is always traffic. I sat in traffic during Amman rush hour today for about 45 mins for a ride that should take about 10. 45 isn't so bad for those in Seattle, but considering the crazy fast way people drive here....45 minutes is like 3 hours. I got stuck in traffic on my way home from work.
I started my new internship at Mercy Corps today. Right now I'm just working on little projects for the Country Director to learn more about exactly what Mercy Corps Jordan does. Mercy Corps biggest projects now are Syrian Refugees and enhancing the water systems and supply in Jordan. Its and International Non-governmental Organization. I'm excited to start this internship and work more with Syrian refugee children and adults. I go back tomorrow after class and after my next Arabic test. Not loving the whole test every week thing I gotta say.
Had my first completely FULL day of work and I'm exhausted. Time to sleep now and then cram some more for my test on the walk to school. No matter where I am, I'll always be cramming for the test on the walk/ride to school. Something never change.
