You don't see many of these any more!
Day off walk round Greenwich Village and Park, following route suggested by our Walking London book by Andrew Duncan. We now have only 4 of the 30 walks to complete, although there is a second book on our bookshelf.
It started off overcast and a little misty but it was a beautiful day for a walk; the views and trees etc in Greenwich Park were excellent. There were so many possible blips that it took a while to choose which one to use. The Red Phone Box won.
Without "Photo editing" it is like one of the "black and white, with a red object" pictures that you often see.
Phone boxes are becoming a rarity in these days of mobile phones. In fact, I cannot remember the last time I used a pay phone and our children would not know how to use one. When I was a lad in cub scouts it is one of the things we were taught how to use, in case of emergencies. Being prepared meant always having a 2p with you. Those were the days ....
