Well, according to Gertrude Stein, that is.

A friend once had a book by her partner - the Alice B Toklas cookbook - but discarded it after trying a recipe where she had to keep on syringing stuff into a chicken. It seemed to take forever to cook and didn't taste any better than her usual fare, which was always splendid.

Lately flowers have taken over my camera. I seem to be running out of inspiration. But it's a very pretty rose.
