3 in 1 Rug

The vibrantly coloured Rug01 hanging on the wall could be impressive in an ultra modern home with a floor large enough to display it to advantage. Here it is in the café at the Dovecot Studios in Edinburgh but was hard to blip because of chairs and tables. It is 230 cms in diameter and in three parts and designed by the young Scottish Jamie Tetsill who specialises in creating bold daring pieces with brilliant colours. It must have been difficult to make. The studios are at the forefront of weaving design with the beautiful spiral weave still adorning the stairs. They often have exhibitions but at the moment there aren't any.
