Skeleton Coast

We are finally somewhere where we can access internet but I'm not sure how reliable it will be.

We drove from Swakopmund to Mowani via the Skeleton Coast park. This is an amazing, desolate and bleak area but also absolutely beautiful. When we reached the exit we were the last car of the day and a total of 4 cars had gone through all day! They employ a man at each end to check cars in and out but amazingly there is no charge to drive the 100 or so km that are public road.

The skeleton coast is famous (among other things) for its shipwrecks and we saw a number of them. I liked this wooden one.
