Chasing The Tiger

We spent our last morning in Kuching, strolling the backstreets and discovering some wonderfully ornate Chinese temples and an equally impressive mosque. This 3D tiger is a typical detail from one of the murals - worth going large for full 3D effect. I've added the impressive temple roof to the Borneo extras in my blipfolio, if you're interested.

Spent a long time browsing the bewildering array of fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood and spices, often right next to each other (no Health & Safety issues here), in the myriad of shops and stalls.

Back at the hotel at lunchtime we saw Sarawak's Chief Minister arriving for a conference, amidst much banging of ceremonial drums, then it was off to the airport for the flight across to the state of Sabah for the next stage of the adventure.
