Stained Glass

We spent the morning with some friends who live closer to Siena and on the way back drove past this piece of glass art on the edge of a vineyard. It's about 4 metres tall and 6 metres wide - wonderful stained glass taking its inspiration from the local countryside. I'm not sure whether it belongs to the Chianti Sculpture Park that is just up the road and has several pieces scattered in the countryside, or whether it belongs to the newly restored villa that you can see in the middle distance at the other end of the vineyard. The villa also has wonderful views of the towers of Siena that are just out of shot to the left.
