Through the porthole
Cycled from Fort Augustus down part of the Great Glen cycle path to Loch Oich. Sun shone and the cycling very easy as the path follows the Caledonian Canal tow path.
Lots of boats going through the canal. One of which was this beautiful wooden 1920s boat which was very luxurious. We even spotted a beautiful big chocolate cake and several bottles of champagne. It was like something out of an Agatha Christie novel.
Highlights of the run were watching the swallows doing aerobatics under the swing bridge and picking wild raspberries along the tow path. Which were later enjoyed with some ice cream back at the tent.
