Mysterious goings on in the glen

When in Fort Augustus it is obligatory to keep an eye out for the Loch Ness Monster. I'm not quite sure what this monster was looking out for.

Neither am I sure why there were people in the campsite using GPS to find the mythical perfect spot to pitch a tent.

Any suggestions?
