Exhausted!

We're both exhausted today!

Ann's exhausted because she has worked from 8am - 6.15pm though she has taken time off to take me on my walks but she says collie dog walks are exhausting too.

I'm exhausted because I went to the river to play with my black & white bouncy ball and I met three other collies who each had a yellow bouncy ball to play with in the river.

The other collies were much younger than me and very speedy.

Well, I wasn't going to be shown up by them...................... So I raced around, I did my speediest swimming and every time a ball was thrown I made sure I got it.

I heard the other collie's owner say to Ann, 'Your dog's really fast'. Ann said, 'Yes for a nine year old, she's super speedy'.

The only trouble is..................... at my age I can't keep up my super speediness for too long.............. so I was glad when the other collies left the river to continue on their walk.

I was soooo exhausted by then that I lay down on the grass and started chewing chunks out of my black & white bouncy ball. I was trying to pretend that doing naughty things like chewing up my bouncy ball was what I wanted to do........

................But Ann knew I was only doing it because I wanted a rest cos I never normally chew up my bouncy balls. Now my black & white bouncy ball doesn't bounce very straight.

However, the next time I go out to play Ann has got a brand new yellow bouncy ball for me.

YAY! She really is the best owner ever!!!
