New Mexico State Fair

We've been to Albuquerque many many times, but this is our first visit to the State Fair.

We went early in order to miss the heat of the day, and also to miss the enormous crowds that were coming in as we were leaving.

I reckon that attendance must have been down earlier in the week because of the rain, but today it was just about perfect.

Later this afternoon, we will head down to the river - we were there last week, and the river was very low. Seeing that Albuquerque has had between 4 inches and 10 inches of rain (depending on the area) while we were in Knoxville, I would hope the levels will be a lot higher.
