Fly Agaric (with fly)

I've been on a foray with one of my favourite fellow mycologists today in an area quite close to where I live. The local Commoners who joined us were lovely, enthusiastic people - a very mixed group of young and old. The weather was great, and we found lots of lovely fungi, including one which I'd never seen before and always wanted to - a Jelly Baby.
I make no apology for posting this Fly Agaric Amanita muscaria, probably the best known fungus. As I was sitting in a clump of brambles trying to get my shot, a passer-by stopped and said "they are so beautiful, they just lift my spirits whenever I see one". I concur with this sentiment! It may not be the last of the season!
