Battersea blipping

Met up with my blipfriend jinglyjan today for London's open weekend. Together with literally thousands of other people - and despite the distinctly grey sky - we went to see Battersea Power Station before they start the 10 year plan to turn it into apartments/shops/ restaurants/'cultural spaces' etc. (All sounds very Maoist, doesn't it?) The queues were enormous, we behaved badly and we had a really good time. Inside the turbine hall everyone seemed to have a camera - anything from phones to tablets, to lenses as big as... well, I'll leave you to make the comparison. These guys were just 2 of so many. I liked the similarities and opposites they represented.

Then it was a long walk back to Waterloo via a pub lunch - of course - and coffee on a floating bar called Tamesis Dock. Weird and wonderful, don't ask!
