Going quackers....

Yesterday, I heard a little girl (who can't have been more that 5 years old) ask her mother why she'd said it was 'spitting' with rain

Her mother hesitated and then said 'It's God. He's spitting at us.' (Clearly she felt the kid was too young for a meteorological explanation!)

The girl frowned for a second, and then said, 'Why? Is he a footballer?'

Now there's a child who'll go far.....
