Things are looking up!

Haha, pun intended!!!

In an attempt to add to my "windows and doors" portfolio for the September photo club assignment, I headed to the Irving Centre greenhouses with my 50mm and 8mm fish-eye. I tried all sorts of angles and just couldn't seem to find the "right" perspective that encapsulated the beauty of the windows themselves, as well as the light they let into the Conservatory.

So, I decided to lay on my back and shoot up. Voila!!!! I sort of freaked out a family that was wandering through the greenhouses when I sat up from between a couple of chairs, but explained I was looking for different perspective; she was taking pics of plants and such herself. They cautiously nodded acceptance, but quickly left the Conservatory...
