Harvest Moon Mud
"T" and I took the dogs to the Wolfville Dykes as I wanted to capture the rising of the harvest moon. Other than resigning myself to the fact that it's really the end of summer, it was a lovely night to "moon capture."
The sunset was incredible, but I only had my 70-300. The moon rise was incredible, but my 70-300, as well as my moon capturing technique pales in comparison to many others I see this morning.
While waiting for the moon to rise, and attempting to find something interesting in the sunset sky, I noticed how the texture of the mud was being highlighted by the late night sky. I think the perspective and B&W also makes it difficult to tell whether it's a couple of hills of mud waiting for the tides to come back, or two hillsides.
Definitely not a wasted evening as it, and the company as always, were incredible!!!!
