Reading!!

I have struggled for a long time to get Will enthusiastic about reading. He couldn't see a good enough reason why he would want to although he has always been brilliant with his letters at school. I kept getting sucked into the books specifically targeted at boys, I hated reading them and got bored quickly. Will wasn't that bothered either and we were getting nowhere.

Now I have gone back to basics and we are reading The Faraway Tree. Bloody brilliant, we both love it. Will loves it so much that after I have read him his chapter, he reads the next page by himself. Enid Blyton is the business.

Next stop writing. Still no ideas on that one.

V good evening out with one current and one ex colleague. Good gossip and bitching was done.
