Anstruther

As the weather was so dreich, we wanted an indoor activity.

We went to the Secret Bunker. You can read all about it for yourself but there were some scary films showing what would happen to people if there had been a nuclear war. I found myself crying.

The blip is of Anstruther, a fishing village on the Fife coast. Anstruther is famous for its fish and chips, so that's where we went for lunch. The restaurant has won the best fish and chip shop in Scotland for many years. It was good and I am still full.

The people on the right are Mr F and Caroline. We have been staying with our good friends Caroline and Roy for the last few days.

Thank you very much for your kindness.

We are driving home tomorrow with very mixed emotions. If you don't know we used to live in Scotland, and it is still very much missed.
