New Forest WHAT?

We stopped over at a Club site in the New Forest so that we'd not have too far to travel to catch the ferry.
I knew about the New Forest Ponies and had seen plenty in the past, but don't recall hearing about the New forest Gurt Hairy Beasties. This one had a "Muckle Coo" keeping it company.
Any advance on "White Park" Gadgy-Marra?
As a result of the close stop-over we turned up yonks early, whooshed up to the man-in-a-box to see where to park until 14:00(ish).
"Oh, we're fairly quiet, just go to the start of column 2, there'll be a boat leaving in about 40mins." and we were off. "Just like that".
