Anywhere which relies on tourism, will, like as not, come up with local quirkinesses. We landed, went straight to the site and into the shop after booking in: just to see if there was anything which had either been missed and sight of would remind us, or caught our eye: like this.
Not only did they have "Ale of Wight", they also sold, on the shelf above "Oil of Wight" from British Oil-seed rape.
And speaking of Tourists ... Hands up all those who regard them as "Touroids"? You know? Hanging around, and a bit of a pain in the>>>>.
