Cousin Alfie

Sunday saw mum and dad sleep in until almost 9am as Ernie quietly got up and played with grandma. In fact, he enjoyed playing with grandma so much that he refused to have a mid morning nap.

On the way home to Edinburgh we stopped in at my brothers to see the wee man's cousin Alfie who is now 14 weeks and his older brother Luka, who's five.

Eight countries and 3500 miles later, we're safely back in the crazy place where we concocted the original road trip. I must say that the wee man was amazing. He's a much better traveller than his mum and dad. Well done son.
