Hitting the road again

After biding farewell to Charo and Robin, we drove over to Southampton to see their son Mark, and his brood of four kids. The wee man was again in top form as he played and entertained the other kids. In fact, I can't quite believe how well behaved he's been on this vacation. Throughout the whole trip he hasn't cried or been fussy at all. Well done lad.

After Southampton we drove to Oxford, only to discover it was open day at the Universities. Unfortunately it was too busy to really enjoy the town properly so we had a quick snack and hit the road again. This time bound for Grandma's house in Lincoln.

Amazingly, the wee man seemed to recognise he was in a familiar place and was soooo happy for the rest of the evening.

He had his first Bath in a while (lots of showers en route) and really enjoyed it. He even learned a neat trick of sliding his bum back and forwards in the bath while holding my hands. I think this might be his new favourite game.

The wee man was also the lucky recipient of a hand-me-down Walker with flashing lights and gizmos from his Aunty Susan, which is a close second to bum sliding in the bath!
