Old reflected in New

Our Wednesday girls had a city excursion today...... we had a tour backstage at the King's Theatre. Very interesting, we stood on the stage and were awestruck by the size and height above...... and all the pulleys, ropes and trapdoors...... just amazing.

We then went for lunch at Renfield St. Stephens, lovely lunch they do there. Then walked down to the river, and along to the Riverside Museum where, you guessed it, we had a wee glass of wine before taking the bus back into the city. A grand day, very windy but sunny and not cold.

We were not allowed to take photographs in the King's Theatre, or only at certain parts which were the bits we could see at any time ....... but I liked this reflection of an old Glasgow church on a modern building, the old and the new together.
