Run-of-the-mill

We were sorry to leave the farmhouse this morning as again we managed to hit gold with our last minute B&B bookings (thank you booking.com)

Before we did, I took the wee man for a walk around the grounds while his mum packed up the bags and readied us for the day ahead.

After another pleasant drive through the country (we're trying to avoid trolls), we arrived in the beautiful town of Angoulême. Having visited a few years earlier, Nikki was able to show us all the sights before we jumed back in the car and headed for Tours.

Tonight we'll be staying in a 15th century watermill, but I think the wee man is more impressed with the cats...
