Nettle-free Bergerac

After checking out of another amazing B&B, we headed over to Carcassonne this morning.

We treated the wee man to a ride in the back of a horse drawn carriage, which he seemed to genuinely revel in. He seems to be developing an interest in animals these past few days, and possibly even categorising them between certain species (apparently that's what happens around 9 months).

After wandering around Carcassonne we hopped back in the car and headed up the scenic road to Moissac. Apparently everywhere is closed on Monday in France too. Still, it didn't stop us enjoying a quick picnic, before hitting the road to Bergerac.

We didn't arrive at the B&B until late into the evening but the owners kindly invited us to share dinner with them. The wee man was obviously tired but in a true moment of clarity, he distinctly called out for his 'Mama' at the dinner table.
