The Best Laid Plans...

Didn't sleep well last night and Alan's cold that's been working on him over the weekend resulted in him coughing from 4am - 6am. Decided to let him have a lie in and a day off school in the hope he'd feel better. Honestly you could set you watch by when he gets a cold when the schools go back....always strikes about 4 weeks after he's back. Just enough time for all the bugs to spread.

So a lazy day here with my boy, which meant I wasn't able to meet friends Fiona and Janice for coffee as planned. See what a selfless mother I am! :))

As the day wore on Alan seemed much better so back to school tomorrow.

My friend Jude is home from Australia and she's popping in tomorrow morning with her mum for a catch up before she heads back down under on Wednesday. Really looking forward to seeing her. Jude and I used to go to Weightwatchers together many years ago and what a laugh we had. We did lose loads of weight but it's all back on again for both of us so I'm sure she'll approve of the banana loaf and oat cookies I've made to celebrate her visit :))

A busy weekend means no blip time so I hope to have a proper catch up tomorrow afternoon. I've backblipped Saturday and Sunday.
