Icelandic Exhibitors

I started to write this while I was still jet lagged, and almost called them exhibitionists! It's Agnes and Berglind displaying their photos for an upcoming exhibit.

A low pressure trough came in overnight, bringing rain and strong winds and grounding all domestic flights until Thursday evening. Our 2:10 flight back to Reykjavik was one of them. Agnes and Berglind picked us up at the airport after we turned in our rental car at 11:30, and gave us a tour of the city, including the botanical gardens, the ski area and the church.

One of the stained glass windows in the church came from Coventry Cathedral in England. The windows had been removed for safekeeping before the cathedral was destroyed by bombing in WWII.
