Stirling Reidos

Ashamed...

...to say that today was the first time in my life that I had been all the way to the top of the Tolbooth in Stirling. What a view of the Ochils you get from the viewing platform.

I was attending the SNP Women's Conference at the venue in my home town. It was a great event with lots of SNP women sharing experiences, learning and laughs:-). The best thing for me as someone who has been around the SNP for the last (cough) 25 years...was the number of new faces...good stuff.

The Tolbooth is a really nice venue too...I love how a building that has been around for centuries and played it's part in Scotland and Stirling's history has been restored and is still in use as a vibrant arts venue.

As the event got under way this morning I answered a call from an upset Buncle at Scout Camp. Managed to calm him down and persuade him to stay on until lunch time and if he was still hating it his Dad would collect him. Spoke to the Scout Leader and we managed to work out what had upset him. So far so good he's still there tonight.

After the conference finished I met Es for a quick 30 minute tour of the shops before they closed so she could pick a birthday present for a friends birthday that she was attending in an hours time...Es presented me with the invitation last night...we're good at this though...practiced at scanning the rails quickly realising there is nothing to our liking moving on to our next trusted retailer. Got the job done and headed home on our bikes.
