Induction: day one

This is part of St James's (or Jimmy's) hospital: one of the two that I'll mainly be based at. As the fire safety man said today, we have to think of the building as a pile of sh.....oeboxes. If we're in a box with no fire, then we stay there. If we're in a box with a sustained fire alarm, then we move to the next box...and so on. Today was the NHS Trust induction - a long day of various talks.
