Calm down Deer!!!

Bad pun I know but hey I'm not perfect!!

Went down to Minsmere today for the first time since July. It was beautifully sunny but the wind was very Autumnal. To be honest, the birds were pretty scarce and photo opportunities limited. However, spent 7 hours there and the list included Great White Egret, Hobby, Bittern and Green Sandpiper so not a total blank.

This beauty was peacefully grazing on Brambles alongside the path. Wasn't that bothered by my presence, then hopped over the fence.

Common Darter - nothing really common at all about this beauty.

Speckled Wood butterfly - saw a lot of these today (and a Small Copper)
Fruitfulness - the Brambles and other plants are laden with berries.
