in Taunton Castle

Not much opportunity to blip today as I was travelling all day, heading down to Devon to visit my Mother, and my brother and his family.

The girl had to go to work so I was left to find my own way to Paddington this morning. Slightly daunting but not that hard when it came to it, and I felt I was getting to grips with London at last.
And I thought I must be adjusting when Reading seemed very quiet!

I took the train to Taunton and had just enough time to have a look at Taunton Castle and the excellent modern museum inside it. Well worth a visit.
Then it was a bus to North Devon where Mum was waiting for me. It was good to see her in her new home. It's perfect for her, very compact and easy to clean. She seems very happy there and true to form had a delicious hot meal waiting for me.
