Achmelvich beach

The sea water here is a stunning blue - this photo doesn't really capture it as it was quite a dull and drizzly day.

We had driven up to Lochinver first and pottered around the town before setting off for this beach.

We discovered the Hermit's Castle at the beach for the first time - very eccentric!

One of the things we love about being up here are the stunning drives.
