Playing with shadows

It's wet, windy and very grey outside today, the birds and insects have all hidden away (I can't say I blame them), so I have had to come up with an indoor blip.
Hubby has been playing with his hifi stuff again today, so while the valves were out of the equipment I thought I would have a play with them. I got frowned at when I picked them up and took them away and was followed to the kitchen where I was trying to photograph them. He decided to stay and supervise my activities and the normally disinterested in photography person turned into a very useful photographers assistant, he was even disappointed when I said I had run out of ideas for them and he could have them back and started suggesting some new ideas. I guess the moral is if you want to get someone interested in photography start taking photos of something they really like - not really rocket science, is it? :-)))
