The Early Birds Catch The Storm

Up at 0630 to take Arthur for a 3 km run around Koshien Stadium. Then I had a lovely 20 km run to Amagasaki Sports Forest and back. The driving wind and rain set in after 12 km. It felt great! Not my fastest time ever, but the cooling rain made the run feel effortless.

There is a typhoon approaching, expected to hit us tomorrow morning. Seems I was not the only sporty type enjoying the wind and the rain; I've never seen so many wind surfers on Koshien Beach. An impressive sight indeed.
