Friday: Murray

Day 1 of the Davis Cup in Umag.  After two singles matches today the score is currently 1-1. Andy Murray won the first match 6-3, 6-0, 6-3. Don't be fooled by the scores, though.  His opponent was 16 year old Borna Coric who recently won the juniors at the US Open.  Despite the end score, he gave Murray an incredible run for his money, with virtually every game going to deuce, and some incredible rallys thrown in.   Definitely a name to watch for the future - Borna Coric, you heard it here first.

The second match was Daniel Evans vs Ivan Dodig where Evans was, sadly, firmly trounced.

A wonderful dinner in the harbour front with Judith and Trevor, two wine importers who we randomly met this morning.
