Friendship Globe

Another wet day, but cheered up by breakfast with the girls.
The teen has even more homework he doesn't feel like doing, and H has some of the hardest spellings I've seen. She might be able to learn to spell them but I doubt if she'll ever need them, and doesn't understand what some of them mean.

This friendship globe was a birthday present. They were made to use up molten glass at the end of the glass blower's day, then given as tokens of friendship, an ancient tradition that's still done today.
