Little Stinker

This is a stink bug, but he doesn't really live up to his name. Well, that's only partially true. If you are Japanese then you hate his stink, if you have any taste for cilantro then you probably won't mind it so much.

I heard that they smell like cilantro from a well traveled Japanese woman about a year ago (she doesn't really like cilantro, understandably). I had never smelled a stink bug until the other day and it does indeed smell like cilantro. I even went in for a second whiff as my students ran away screaming.
